American country awards 2010 news




American Country Awards, followed by Lady Antebellum with four trophy guitars. The American Country Awards, held in Las Vegas, were televised live on Fox TV on December 6, 2010.

Lady Antebellum's four wins, included Group/Duo of the Year "Need You Now' won the award for Single of the Year, Single of the Year by a Group/Duo and Music Video of the Year by a Group/Duo.

"First and foremost we want to say a huge thank you from the bottom of our heart to the fans," exclaimed Hillary Scot on Lady Antebellum.

Lady Antebellum was named the top Group/Duo of the Year. Nominees in the category included Rascal Flatts, Sugarland, The Band Perry and the Zac Brown Band.

The Single of the Year was 'Need You Now' by Lady Antebellum. The nominees included 'Do I by Luke Bryan, A Little More Country Than That by Easton Corbin, 'Gimme That Girl; by Joe Nichols' and 'Why Don't We Just Dance' by Josh Turner.

'Need You Now' by Lady Antebellum was also the winner for Single of the Year Group/Duo. Nominees in the category were 'Little White Church' b Little Big Town, 'Unstoppable' by Rascal Flatts, 'Keep On Lovin' You' by Steel Magnolia and 'Toes' by Zac Brown Band.

The Video of the Year Group/Duo was 'Need You Now' by Lady Antebellum. Nominees included 'Little White Church; by Little Big Town, 'Unstoppable' by Rascal Flatts, 'Keep on Lovin' You' by Steel Magnolia and 'Highway 20 Ride' by Zac Brown Band.'
