5 Killed, 6 Injured in California Motorcycle Crash NEWS :-Authorities Sunday morning were searching for a driver who they believe caused an accident in Imperial County that killed five people and injured six.
Four of the dead belonged to a Lakeside motorcycle club called the Saddle Tramps, according to CHP Officer Deeann Goudie. Goudie told The Times that the club was celebrating its 10th anniversary Saturday with a ride across the desert.
The members met at 9 a.m. for breakfast in Lakeside before getting on the road, Goudie told The Times. They were riding east on Route 98 near Ocotillo, about 80 miles out of San Diego, when a gold Honda Accord revved up behind them and tried to pass. Authorities believe the Honda driver caused the crash, but the driver fled from the scene.
A white Dodge Avenger coming from the opposite direction swerved to avoid the oncoming Honda, lost control and then crashed into the pack of motorcycles.
Four motorcyclists -- including a husband-and-wife team who were riding the same bike -- were killed, Goudie said. A passenger in the Avenger was also killed.
CHP officials told the Associated Press on Sunday that the driver of the Avenger, who suffered injuries, was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving. But officials said they don't consider him responsible for the accident because the Honda forced him off the road.
Several of the people who were injured were airlifted to hospitals.
The gold Honda that tried to pass the motorcycles did not suffer any damage. Goudie said. She said authorities did not know the year of the car or the license plate number. Witnesses said the driver was a man wearing a baseball cap. FOR UPDATES STAY ONLINE

In Round 7, Referee Laurence Cole tells Margarito to wipe the Vaseline off his facial cut region. Margarito assaults when the Filipino lands him a left. Yet another round scored by Pacquiao.

Incredible action commences as Margarito begins to charge but Pacquiao’s enormous strength beats him down in Round 8. Round 9 witnesses more action, as the Mexican’s swollen eye almost shuts.

Referee Laurence Cole inspects Margarito's bloodied right eye in the 10th Round. A round of six punches from Pacquiao to his head turn Margarito's face to "a mask of blood," as an announcer says.

By Round 11, Pacquiao’s dominance is more than evident. He cries to stop the match, as Margariti can barely keep his hands up. He eyes Cole to stop, who in turn points to Margarito’s eye, urging him to go on.

Forget all of the greenhouse emissions from the copious amounts of military craft and vehicles (not to mention one nuclear explosion) - just the travelling alone is more than most people would do in a lifetime. The Modern Warfare games went from favelas in Rio de Janeiro to a gulag in the far-eastern corner of Russia and an SAS training camp in the UK to a village in Azerbeijan - they even had the audacity to go back in time with Captain Price's flashback to Chernobyl irradiated Ukraine, and we all know how polluting those flux capacitors are. Call of Duty: Black Ops is no exception in that regard, leapfrogging from Cuba to the Vietnam War, the former USSR to quite literally the edge of space, and Treyarch even has time to flashback to the Arctic Circle at the end of World War II (as if it hadn't had enough of that era already).

If you don't even like first-person shooters, perhaps it's just worth buying the game for the virtual travelling opportunities? If not that, then just take a punt for the impressive levels of historical research on show. Military vehicles, weapons, and clothing have obviously been loyally recreated from the Cold War era, but it's the finer details that really stand out here - even the computer command consoles are unmistakably of their time and the voice-actor for JFK is spot-on the money. People harp on about how great TV shows like Mad Men are for precisely these reasons, so perhaps it's worth remembering that some videogames (CoD: Black Ops being a standout example) also do a remarkably good job in their own right (Resistance: Fall of Man, on the other hand, definitely did not).

While details are sketchy, early reports state that Wiz Khalifa was at a show at East Carolina University when police reportedly stopped his show 45 minutes into his set.

Sources suggest the arrest is related to Khalifa’s penchant for smoking marijuana.

The popular Pittsburgh rapper, known for his hit single "Black and Yellow," has boasted about smoking about $10,000 in weed per month.

The 22-year-old rapper was in town to perform at Wright Auditorium, as part of the national "Waken Baken Tour 2010."

The 60-date-tour kicked off September 16th and ends in Boston on November 21st. Tonight, rapper Big Krit was tapped to open for Wiz Khalifa.

Wiz' last tweet came around 4:30 PM EST when he sent the message: "Smoke outs greenville, nc tonight. fall thru wit ur finest plant life."

There’s a lot on the line for both men – Lopez is looking to prove that he can be just as dominant against truly elite opposition as he is against everyone else, as well as erase any doubts about his chin or endurance, and Marquez is looking to prove that he’s still the best among the lighter weight classes now that the his wars against Israel Vazquez have finally reached a conclusion. There’s a 85% knockout ratio between the two. The question is – who will be the one to give, and who shall receive?

Puerto Rico’s Juan Manuel Lopez, or “Juanma” as he is often referred, is an undefeated champion and at 27 is in the prime of his youth. Although not completely magnificent in one particular area, he is one of the most well-rounded and complete fighters in the game today with very good power, speed, defense, punch output, and technique. There has yet to be a blueprint written on how to beat him. The only real question is his chin and endurance. Lopez was floored in the first round of his last right against Bernabe Concepcion, but eventually pulled himself together to score the knockout in the following round. The real black mark on his record, however, was his fight against the unspectacular Rogers Mtagwa. With a 26-12 record, Mtagwa was expected to be a walk in the park. Instead, he ended up being Lopez’s first test in heart, as the fight seemed to demonstrate that not only does Lopez fade bigtime going into the championship rounds, but that his chin might not hold up as well if his opponents fist can reach the target.
